14. Adults Only & Children’s Policy Violations

Teammate is strictly intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older.

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for underage accounts and do not knowingly collect, solicit, or maintain personal data from anyone under 18.

Handling Policy Violations:

  • Discovery and Ban Procedure: If we detect, or have reason to believe, that a user is under the age of 18, we will immediately freeze, suspend, or permanently terminate the account.
  • Data Removal: Upon confirmation of an age violation, all personal data associated with the minor’s profile will be permanently purged from active databases and matching pools. Limited identifiers may be retained solely to block the user or device from creating future accounts.
  • Reporting Underage Users: If you suspect or learn that a minor is using Teammate, please contact us immediately at [Safety Email] or submit a report via our in-app reporting tools so our safety moderation team can investigate and take swift action.

15. Report & Block Features

To ensure Teammate remains a secure and respectful environment, we provide built-in reporting and blocking controls directly within the application.

Blocking Features

You can block any user at any time directly from their profile card or from within an active chat thread. Blocking takes effect immediately:

  • The blocked user will no longer be able to view your profile, send you messages, or match with you.
  • Your profile will be permanently removed from their match stack and conversation list.
  • Blocked users are not notified that you have blocked them.

Reporting Features & Data Processing

You may report any user who violates our Terms & Conditions, engages in harassment, displays inappropriate content, operates a fake or underage profile, or behaves unsafely.

  • How Reports are Processed: When a report is filed, our safety and moderation team reviews the reported user’s profile details, relevant chat logs, and safety flags to determine if a violation occurred.
  • Confidentiality: Reports are handled confidentially; the reported user will not be told who submitted the report.
  • Action Taken: If a safety violation is confirmed, we may issue warnings, restrict account features, or issue a permanent platform-wide ban.

16. Account Deletion

You can request deletion through:

[Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account]

or by contacting:

[Privacy Email]

Deleting your account removes it from normal discovery. Certain information may be retained for safety, legal, payment, fraud-prevention, or backup purposes as described above.

Deleting the account may not cancel an active app-store subscription.

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy when our services, technology, or legal obligations change.

If an update materially affects how we use personal information, we will provide reasonable notice through the app, website, email, or another appropriate method.
